During my working relationship with Ms. Affek I have experienced an individual who shows up earlier than asked, works hard, and carries themselves in a polite, respectable manner. In addition, her patience, understanding, and dedication to students enabled her to score a Highly Effective rating as an educator in my district.

Ms. Affek has worked tirelessly across 4-5 grade levels and serviced up to 100 students per day. She has a strong knowledge of the ELA and NYSESLAT/NYSITELL exams and has been a scoring leader, proctor, and pre-assessor for the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) department. She also has a strong in teaching reading and writing skills with a prowess for being a quick study in pedagogy. Moreover, she is exceptionally gifted at making students feel comfortable and always maintaining a positive atmosphere. It is without reservation that Ms. Affek will be an asset in any educational setting.
