About Jonita
Hi, everyone! My name is Jonita and I’m from the Philippines. I’m a TEFL/TESOL - certified tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, a Business English Coach, and an American Accent trainer. I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults from different countries, handling learners from beginner to advanced levels.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Banking and Finance. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped many students achieve their personal and professional goals. Some have successfully passed university exams, secured call center positions, while the other had passed a job interview to work overseas.
My teaching approach is learner-centered, where students can actively participate during classes. I focus on phonics, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, writing, spelling, and confidence-building. I also specialize in Business English, equipping learners with practical communication skills for professional and workplace settings. In addition, I provide targeted preparation for exams such as EIKEN and HIPPO, students build the competence and confidence needed to succeed. I tailor each lesson according to my students’ individual needs and goals. I strongly believe that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process, so I create a friendly, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
Teaching is truly my passion, and I can see myself that I’ll be teaching for a lifetime. I believe that a good education can change anyone, while a good teacher can change everything.

4. Correction & Feedback (10 mins) – pronunciation and grammar correction
