About Cayla
I am a TEFL qualified teacher who has been teaching English for 5 years through different volunteer programs. I have helped train aspiring teachers in Lusaka, Zambia and I have lead adult group conversational classes in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Having gone through a TEFL program, I have been motivated to always lead my classes through games and fun activities. I think it's important to have an environment where both the teacher and student are enjoying themselves. Giving more of the responsibility to the student also encourages them to speak more freely on the topic at hand, providing a space where confidence can grow. I think one of the most important things a teacher/tutor can do for a student is to help them change the narrative in their head about their approach on the subject. Confidence, alone, can immensely help the approach to the subject.
