About Ava
I’m a Level 5 TEFL-qualified teacher with experience working with children and adults from a range of international backgrounds. I’ve taught skiing in Canada, where I developed the ability to explain clearly, adapt lessons, and build confidence in learners of all levels.
Having lived in the UK, Canada, and Malaysia, I’m comfortable working with students from different cultures and English abilities. My background in childcare and group leadership has strengthened my patience, organization, and ability to create a positive, supportive learning environment.
I take a professional and structured approach to teaching, while keeping lessons engaging and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you’re looking to improve your fluency, confidence, or everyday communication, I aim to make lessons enjoyable, effective, and focused on real progress.
