About Hannah
Grammarian - that's someone who studies grammar, or in one word - me! I am Hannah May and I am studying English and Linguistics in university after receiving a TEFL Diploma. I love kpop and I crochet in my free time while listening to podcasts. Both my parents were teachers, so teaching is in my blood and I make sure to embody that through fun and enthusiastic lessons - sharing my love for literature and poetry.

I am an English teacher who fully emmerges my students into what is being learned, engaging your imagination and activating other areas of knowledge to learn effectively. I teach Grade 5 to Matric, specifically focusing on reading and comprehension skills at younger levels as a solid foundation for other skills. I teach skills on how to analyse and study literature which a vital skill in high school as well as general English language skills like essay writing and public speaking. Having ADHD myself, I understand the need to engage my students with topics that are interesting to them and focus on their individual strengths.
