About Sean
I'm a certified teacher (QTS, TEFL, USA teaching certificate and interpreter from Spanish to English. I recently received my MA from the University of Nottingham in Translation studies from Spanish to English. I teach English online to both students and adults with another online platform. I worked as a cirriculum coordinator so I am well versed in creating engaging lesson plans and adapting my teaching style based on learners needs. Before my online work I taught ESL students in Texas, USA, one year in Istanbul, Turkey and 2 years in Cúcuta, Colombia. I've also taught English for EFL students through Stem in Taiwan.

My teaching methodology is that all students learn differently. I take a customized approach to teaching. In the past I've used visuals and scaffolding of materials to help my students reinforce basic language skills and extend learning to their lives so that they can immediately begin to use new vocabulary and sentence structures.
