About Chiara
I recently completed a TEFL course, as I really enjoy teaching and I am passionate about the English language. Just over a year ago, I spent some time volunteering in an English language school in Cambodia where I taught students aged 4-60 or various levels. This was an amazing experience and I learned so much about different teaching skills and how to accommodate many different learning styles. I appreciate anyone's decision to take on a new language, as I know it can be challenging, but the rewards are so worth it and being able to speak, write and understand English will open up endless new opportunities for you! I aim to help and support you every step of the way on your English learning journey, and I promise to do this to my best of my ability. I look forward to witnessing your growth and success. YOU CAN DO IT! I am an empathetic person, with lots of energy and am very easy to get along with. It is important to me that you are comfortable in our lessons. I have many interests and hobbies such as- photography, music, cooking, nature and traveling, I would love to hear about yours!

With younger students, I use playful, interactive methods—like games and storytelling—to build vocabulary and basic sentence structures. I offer optional homework to assess their understanding and identify areas to revisit in future lessons. With older students, I focus on grammar, reading, and writing, tailoring lessons to their interests while integrating culture and global topics. Group discussions and collaborative projects help boost their confidence and communication skills. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is leading conversation classes. These sessions promote fluency and cultural exchange through discussions on current events, personal goals, and shared experiences—all in a supportive, engaging environment.
