About Rachel
Hello,
My name is Rachel and I am from the UK.
I have a 2:1 BSc degree in Criminology and counselling (2009) and since have committed to a career working with children, young people and adults within the safeguarding arena. My career has involved supporting families by teaching and offering intervention to support their growth and development.
Since May 2022, I have been travelling the world with my partner. We have visited 4 continents so far and 10 countries. I love to share and hear others travel stories and this is a great way for others to practise and use their English in conversation. Travelling globally has also inspired us both to learn Spanish so we are able to explore South America and learn more about the culture. We have been very fortunate as English speakers that the majority of countries we have visited we are able to communicate effectively with locals in English. If you are keen to travel, English language is a great skill to have.

I am able to offer conversational English classes for all levels and ages.
Initially I will get to know you and your learning style so we can work together to create a comfortable and effective class to suit your needs.
We will then create fun classes for your engagement and ongoing development in English.
This may include the use of videos, magazines or any material that you enjoy to help you learn. I may ask you to read or watch something to support our next class.
I have been working with children, young people and adults for over 7 years in both safeguarding support and managerial roles to ensure they are able to continue to grow and develop effectively.
I am able to offer classes to all ages and abilities with a basic level of English required to support initial stages of learning.
We can agree an appropriate timing for your class however, I generally offer 1 hour classes.
