About Emmanuel

My name is Emmanuel Guvamombe, I was born and raised in Harare Zimbabwe but I am now residing in South Africa for the past 10 years. I graduated a few years back and obtained my degree in Business Management. I have worked in business operations since then, specifically in retail, simply because I love working with people, from different cultures, religions, and backgrounds. I have always had a passion for working directly with people and that's why I also ventured into teaching, did my Tefl course, and got my certification. With this journey of teaching that I have embarked on, my goal is to help widen/broaden the learner's opportunities through learning the English language and at the same time help them prepare for the future ahead by teaching them how to read, write, speak, listen and grammar. During my spare time, I love doing music(playing the piano), writing, painting, and crafts. I am passionate about personal growth, I love reading self-help books and I'm always learning/looking for a new skill to learn and develop, even if it means going beyond my limits or my comfort zone. I am creative and open-minded, I love solving problems that seem impossible to solve, and I love hearing and trying other people's opinions/points of view and putting them into action. In summary, I just love working with and helping people. I have worked as an Operations Manager for a company called Cash Crusaders from January 2017 until February 2021, I worked as a salesperson up until operations. I ventured into retail because I have always been passionate about working directly with people, from March 2021 until the end of November I have worked for a contract at one of the best private schools in South Africa. I have worked there as a Blending Learning facilitator where I got to unleash my potential in computers and literacy skills, I have seen a positive impact on those I helped teach hence this was a step ahead in my journey to teaching, thank you.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is that every child should be introduced to the tools they need to establish their own learning style.Because of how important technology is in our world,and given my TefL Certifate which i just acquired now,i believe i can change the world through my teaching skills.

Before i start teaching every child i shall send a syllabus so they can familiarize themselves before we partake into various points/aspects.I'll also include my office hours so you can schedule a time and date we can skype should you need to address any concerns or want to discuss your child's progress.l hope you'll take advantage of this as a child's success in shcool is directly related to how involved their parents are.
