About Mara

I am a Tutor specialised in foreign languages (ESL, French, Italian) and actor, recently graduated in MA Advanced Theatre Practice at drama school. I have been teaching languages for 7 years to students of any age and nationality helping them to become more confident in the use of the language and achieve their goals. I took and passed exams for all most important and required international certification in language proficiency, so I know the structure of the exams very well and I help my student to get ready to pass the exam and achieve the grade desired.

About the lesson

All my lessons are tailored to my student's need, we choose in advance the topic my students would like to focus on and I prepare activities ad hoc. I mostly teach a strategy to think, associate and easily remember vocabulary and grammar structures, in a friendly and playful atmosphere. I would like that my students feel free to experiment and try to practise the language without worrying to make mistakes but seeing them as an opportunity to learn.

I teach online or in person only in London (Uxbridge).

Before we get started, I offer a free 30-minute video call to understand your specific goals and motivation (this doesn’t include practice).
