About Hunter
I’m a friendly, patient, and creative tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students feel more confident in their English. I have a BA in Art Education, a 120-hour TEFL certification, and experience working with children as a tutor, educator, nanny, and coach.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to make lessons comfortable, engaging, and personalized. My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to make them feel excited about learning and confident using the language.
I especially enjoy working with children and young learners and bringing creativity into my lessons. Whether you are just beginning to learn English or want to become more comfortable speaking, I would love to help you reach your goals!

My approach to teaching English is patient, encouraging, and personalized to each student. As an Art Education graduate and TEFL-certified tutor, I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, creative, and connected to their interests.
A typical lesson will begin with a short conversation or activity to understand the student's goals and comfort level. We can then focus on speaking, vocabulary, reading, grammar, or writing through interactive activities, games, and real-life examples. I adjust each lesson to the student's age, level, and learning style.
What sets me apart is my experience working with children and my creative background. I love finding fun ways to make English feel less like a school assignment and more like something students can actually enjoy using. I have experience working with children as a tutor, childcare provider, coach, and educator, so I am comfortable adapting my teaching style to different personalities and learning needs.
My lessons are especially suited for children and young learners who are beginning or developing their English skills, as well as students who want to build confidence in speaking and everyday communication. I am happy to work with beginners through intermediate-level students and tailor lessons to their individual goals.
