About Mallory

I am a passionate educator with more than two decades of experience teaching and tutoring both children and adults in the following subjects: English, French, math, accounting, and political science. I hold a master's degree from The University of Edinburgh and am TEFL certified. I have experience with individuals from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds and love to learn about my students as I teach! In addition to my native English, I am fluent in French and have a basic level of both Spanish and Italian. I am excited to meet you and help you achieve your goals!

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored to meet the student's specific needs and to work toward their exact goals. This could include academic test preparation, interview preparation, or an overall interest in becoming fluent for either personal or professional reasons. Activities include listening, speaking, reading texts, practice conversations and anything else that could help the student have fun and learn!

I am happy to teach children and adults and have success tutoring and teaching at all levels. Here are some of my key achievements:
- French engineering student tutored in TOIEC achieved highest school in class of more than 50 students.
- French finance professional obtained English-speaking position after interview preparation sessions.
- French accounting professional received TOEIC score of 940/990 after 5 months of tutoring.
- French engineering student passed TOEIC examination after 3 months of tutoring after 2 previously unsuccessful
attempts.
- 9 year-old math student scored 10/11 on first math test after 2 weeks of tutoring. She improved from a 5/10 to a 10/11.
- Swedish student accepted into and currently attending a US university after 2 years of English tutoring.
- Dutch student responsible for management of English portion of company website.
