About Millie
I am a piano tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, encouragement, and tailoring lessons to each student’s individual learning style. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable, meaningful, and productive while helping students develop technical skills, musical understanding, and expressive creativity. Throughout my career, my students have performed in recitals, competitions, and public events. My teaching methodology is based on compassion, patience, and clear communication. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable and supportive. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable and confident. I begin with piano basics such as posture, hand position, finger technique, rhythm, and note reading. Lessons are explained clearly in simple English and adjusted to the student’s learning pace. Communication is very important in my lessons. I encourage students to ask questions and share difficulties. I provide regular feedback and supportive guidance to help them improve. Along with piano, I teach music theory, scales, chords, sight reading, and ear training. These subjects help students understand music better. I also guide students on effective practice routines. My supportive teaching style helps students stay motivated and enjoy steady progress.
