About Richard
I am degree qualified in Mechanical engineering which has a very maths content and also GCSE and A Level Maths. I have been working in engineering, IT and telecoms fields for many years. I have my own children so I used to children and I have also trained adults in my workplace.

Practice, Practice and practice and of course enjoy. Once a subject becomes clearer the student will be much happier. I like to try to explain a subject from different angles until a method works. Sometimes learning a little a student then understands how much more is to be learnt and that can be daunting but just keep going.
