About Asha
Learning mathematics is a route that involves active participation of the teacher along with the students. As a math teacher, I always provide students with situations that enable them to become better and independent learners. This is because I believe that all students have different ways in which they learn and understand mathematical concepts and topics. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to make sure that all of my students become not only better in this subject, but better learners. I therefore don’t stop until I know that all the topics and concepts taught by me are clearly and thoroughly understood by all my students.

Teaching Mathematics doesn’t include solving sums only. It has been proven that mathematics is best learned through activities that allow students to explore and grasp the gist of mathematical concepts on their own. Activities such as making three dimensional shapes through nets, creating pie charts from data, and understanding operations of integers using counters, help them integrate and co-relate mathematics into their real life. I always encourage, develop and guide students toward success in their mathematical studies and the way they learn.
