About Isabella
Hello, I'm Isabella. I am 16 years old and in grade 11 this year. I have experience teaching and engaging younger kids in activities, games, and critical thinking while in a youth group. I value creativity, discipline, responsibility and trust. I hope that through tutoring, a trustworthy, collaborative, and contributive relationship can develop, helping kids thrive towards success and improvement. I am a hardworking, patient and creative individual who can connect with others on an empathetic level, which is essential when providing tutoring services in order to help out.

I would teach using visual, auditory and exemplary techniques. I would elaborate and explain diction choice, structure, grammar roles, and effectiveness. In writing, I can understand how easily it is to let ideas flow freely, ultimately requiring organization and formal writing structures. I would teach them how to write efficiently, effectively and how to write creatively. In writing, I would provide explanations of grammar and structure, so that when organizing interior thoughts, they can flow. In speaking, I would also use visual but also auditory examples. Such as describing a scene with effectiveness, conciseness, and with pronunciation. I am set apart from other tutors because I understand and apply the different learning techniques and the difficulties that come with expressing oneself. A typical lesson plan would focus on the areas of improvement a child may need. I would provide lessons with for example, sentence structure, grammar, paragraph structure, describing a situation, applying interactive learning via tasks or homework. The lessons would target mostly elementary to middle school students.
