About Marcus
My name is Marcus and I study English at University. I want to tutor because I enjoy work that requires human interaction. As someone who cares about the quality of my essays, I work hard to articulate my thoughts clearly. I feel that I will be able to engage with students effectively.

I received 9s in GCSE Language and Literature and I received an A* in A level English. Therefore, I will be tutoring English literature for any age up to the end of school, and I can help with English language at GCSE level as well. My sessions are typically an hour long and I charge £10.
My aim is to teach a practical approach to answering exam questions, whilst also encouraging students to engage with texts and think critically for themselves. It is important to learn exam technique but also important to enjoy the subject, so teaching a love of English is important to me.
