About Marlize
Creative and patient teacher with 1 year of experience. Great communication skills and bold approach to creating effective lesson plans.
I have a GA Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) (i-to-i). I've been part of a project teaching disadvantaged children and adults reading and writing skills with great success. I had 3 intermediate students which I also taught and 1 student with grammar and reading skills.
I am sure that I will be able to teach an student and create a love for the English language.

The methodology I use is Task-Based Learning. I teach English as a foreign language. Depending on my student/s I will either during the presentation of class model the language so that the student/s can hear it and copy me repeatedly until they have incorporated the language. With task-based learning, this method utilizes tasks to encourage the student/s to use certain language. Language learning needs not only to be dealt with in a linguistic context. There will also be a place for grammar exercises and language discussions.
I prefer to teach, intermediate and upper intermediate as well as Advanced students.
