About Iqra
I am passionate about tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others learn and achieve their goals. I find it incredibly rewarding to see a student gain confidence, overcome difficulties, and improve their results. Knowing that I have contributed to someone's success gives me a great sense of satisfaction and motivates me to continue teaching.
Alongside tutoring, I aspire to study MPharm at a Russell Group university and pursue a career as a pharmacist. This ambition reflects my strong interest in science, particularly chemistry, and my desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Tutoring allows me to develop valuable communication and mentoring skills while sharing my enthusiasm for learning with others.

I am currently an A-level student studying Chemistry and achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Chemistry. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I understand the content and exam techniques needed for success. I focus on exam-style questions to identify areas where students struggle and use this to target their weaknesses. I then help them develop a stronger understanding of the underlying concepts and improve their exam skills. I generally prefer one-hour sessions, although I am flexible and open to different session lengths. I have experience tutoring Year 7 and Year 10 students, as well as supporting pupils preparing for the 11+ examinations.
