About Alonzo
I genuinely believe that teaching math and coaching wrestling are my true callings in life. For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in the classroom, and for the last 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to coaching on the wrestling mat. The relationships I build with my students and athletes extend far beyond academics and athletics—they’re rooted in mentorship, trust, and personal growth. My mission, whether in the classroom or on the mat, is to help develop not just skilled students and athletes, but strong, respectful, and well-rounded individuals.

I believe that true mastery of any subject comes from a deep understanding of both the solutions and the reasoning behind them. In my lessons, students don’t just learn the correct answers—they gain a clear, thorough understanding of the methods used to arrive at those answers and the underlying concepts that make them valid.
