About Kerem onat
Througout the years, I had the privilage of working with some of the most internationally acclaimed jazz artists. I learned so much from them in terms of approaching the music and the students.
Focusing on the core problems and finding solutions that are on point is a quality I got thanks to those artists. It's not about getting better, it's about doing the work right and that's why I'm here for.

Working on jazz music, requires various different topics to be visited regularly. For me it is important for the student to know that many topics on music are connected to each other and I think my job is not only to show how to play the piano well but also to show those connections clearly and help the student to develope their own way of thinking and coming up with their own solutions.
In order to achive that, of course there must be some fundamental work needs to get done. In my lessons we are going to focus on those fundamental aspects that are important to a jazz musician. Such as ear traning, theory, rhythm etc .
In addition to what will help us learn this music on piano, we will focus on piano itself mainly by practicing various aspects like voicings, transcriptions, jazz standards, melody etc.
These lessons are available to begginers and also to experienced musicians as well.
