About Owen
Everyone struggles with learning; me, too! I will meet you where you are, academically, and we can get you to the next level together. I taught middle school and high school, in both low-performing districts and top-ranked charter schools. With some diagnostic inventories, we can identify gaps in knowledge and fill them. I scaffold all my learning so you can build on your successes, and will teach you concepts to where you've mastered them.

I teach with a combination of the Socratic Method and I Do, We Do, You Do. I meet the student where they are, not where they "should be." 12 years experience with remedial learners. I try to make learning fun with Gameschooling and achievable goals.
I specialize in mathematics from Pre-Algebra to Geometry, and with English grammar and literature.
