About Rebecca

I have taught both English composition at the University level and I am currently teaching English to High School Students. I have experience with a wide number of books common to both University and High School Courses. In the past, I have helped students understand complex grammar and literature where we utilized their knowledge in writing unique, inspiring, and well-crafted papers about numerous subjects. My personal passion is creative writing and to help fellow writers with their creative endeavors.

About the lesson

I focus on expressivist pedagogy when I teach. This means I encourage personal growth and development from the writing assignments and a reflection of personal insight when understanding complex topics in literature. I would assign a book, with a reading schedule, and have students write papers in response to the main theme or an associated topic at the end of the reading. As progress is made through a book, there will be small assignments to help with comprehension, character guides, themes, and grammar and vocab work in between. My classes would be directed at the high school level and undergraduate studies. I would also likely manage a creative writing class focused on short stories and novels as well as a Mythology and Ancient Greek course and a Dystopian class.

For a higher level, the rate does increase.

If a student cancels their class within 24 hours of the start time for that class, the student will still owe that amount for the class unless in the cases of emergencies which must be documented.
