About Emma

I am a 23 year old recently graduated from BA in Home Economics and Religious Education (H2.1) I have gotten high results in all exams and practical school placements and have a passion for teaching and ensuring the learner understands all content.
I have an excellent review from parent of current student!
I am very creative with my teaching methods and aim to provide the information necessary for the learner to achieve their own goals for exams etc.
I am flexible throughout the week.

About the lesson

I can offer grinds ensuring that notes and exam questions are the focus. I have extensive notes from my own Home Economics classes and have taught over 50 hours of Home Economics and Religious Education classes.

Through grinds I can make sure the learner is using techniques and methods that help them learn the content to get the most out of the lessons.

Perfect! My daughter has had 2 x Home Ec lessons with Emma and we have now booked a weekly lesson going forward for the full school year. In my daughter's words her notes are 'next level'. Presently her school teacher just reads the course text and tells them to learn and move on. Emma offers tips on what the exam structure is like, therefore what to concentrate on as well as easy ways to remember certain aspects of the curriculum. Home Economics is a subject with a lot of content, so it important to keep pace with the class and the volume of learning required. Emma's lessons are structured in a way that supports the student in a focused and stuctured manner - not only learning the content but also working on how to answer the exam questions to optimise the marks on offer. Delighted to have found Emma!

I have a BA of Education (H2.1). I am in my final year of my masters programme. I have gotten very high results and have a broad knowledge of Home Economics and Religious Education as a discipline. I am very informed about the exams for both LC and JC for both subjects and can fine tune the notes needed to gain excellent results
