About Richard

I am retired from full-time teaching and am now very keen to keep it up part-time online from home. I really enjoy it. I am very flexible regarding content and timing of lessons. I believe I can help students to feel comfortable and confident, and I am ready to listen to them and meet their needs in any way I can. I hope I can help you.

About the lesson

I specialise in teaching English online, one-to-one. I am flexible regarding the content and length of the lesson – can be structured around a particular element of language (with presentation followed by activities) or free talk around a particular topic. After graduating with a BA in English I took a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, then my main career was as an English teacher in English schools; I also have a TEFL Certificate and have taught English as a Second Language in Oxford and to businessmen in Paris.
