About Maddie
I am a successful teacher of Citizenship, PSHE and study skills and have been teaching for six years in pre-16 education; some of this has been within a mainstream system whilst some in alternative provision. I have worked with students of all needs and abilities which has benefited my ability to differentiate and inspired inclusivity in my work. I have mentored university students throughout, supporting with grammatical and structural elements of essays as well as university applications.

My teaching methodology varies dependant on the individual needs of the student; in some occasions I am practical and educate through kinaesthetic tasks but other occasions require me to be structural and approach with step-by-step ideas. The beginnings of my lessons will always begin with a debate, and will almost certainly end on this same debate topic dependant of the content of the lesson to see how our minds change throughout a further understanding of the topic.
I am easy to talk to, admired for my ability to build good relationships and will do my utmost to inspire my students to become the best versions of themselves and fulfil their full potential.
