About Ben

I love teaching and maths, which makes me great at my job! I am an independent school maths teacher in the UK. I love teaching maths because it equips students with the ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently—skills that are invaluable in all walks of life. For those who may not feel confident in their mathematical abilities, I aim to build that confidence through understanding, not just rote memorisation. I focus on helping you grasp the underlying concepts so you can tackle more challenging problems and think on your feet when faced with unfamiliar questions. Whether you see yourself as a natural mathematician or someone who finds the subject challenging, I'm here to guide you. My approach is tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring that everyone can achieve their goals. With a deep enthusiasm for the subject, I believe that maths is not only a critical skill but also a fascinating world full of patterns, logic, and problem-solving opportunities.

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching and like to make the learning process engaging and fun for students. I am encouraging and always push my students frequently getting them grades higher than they expect. Accepting tutees with any level of experience studying for the following qualifications: - GCSE / iGCSE / Certificate of Further Maths - A-level maths (pure and applied) - A-level further maths - MAT / TMUA Lessons are typically 1 hour and take place over Zoom.
