Hello, My name is Megan Russler. I'm American and I'm 31. I am a teacher at The American School of Paris. My native language is English, but I am fluent in French and considered bilingual. From 2009 to 2011, I taught English at the Sorbonne-Paris IV. Previously (2006 to 2009) I taught French as a foreign language at university in the United States. I am currently a doctoral student at Paris-IV and I study literature. I won two awards for the teaching of French in the United States (in 2007 and also in 2008). I believe that in order to master a foreign language one must have a good foundation in grammar and speak as often as possible; in fact, doing so was how I learned French. I have a lot of activities already prepared in order to reinforce grammar as well as confidence in speaking. I like working with my students. I am willing to give lessons to students of all levels. I can help with homework in French or English and I can give lessons to beginners or work with students who would simply like to maintain a certain level of English or French. I live in Paris and I'm ready to move around the city in order to give lessons. Thank you very much and see you soon I hope!
