About Ben
I performed really well in Psychology in 2018, getting a raw study score of 45. I was in the top few students of my cohort for our SACs, getting high 90's in each SAC. In my current psychology degree, which expands a lot on VCE psych units, I'm achieving subject scores of around 85-88, which is considered to be high-achieving and necessary for Honours.
I've also had tutoring experience before and I really enjoy teaching material to students and helping them guide through concepts to get to "aha" moments of understanding. I am deeply interested in psychology and I hope to pass some of that fascination onto my students.

VCE Psychology is primarily about answering questions in a very particular way to "tick boxes" and achieve marks. To develop high-quality answers, I would help guide students through particular concepts and help students to understand them holistically. Moreover, I would provide students with practice questions (of my own creation, or from previous exams or practice materials) and help students understand how to get full marks on questions. Finally, I would hope to instill a love and interest for psychology in my students, as VCE psych made me decide to pursue psychology as a career.
