About Raj
Hi, I'm Raj. I'm based in Gurgaon, and I teach Math, Physics and Computer Science to school students from Class 6 to 12.
I finished my B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physical Science with a Computer Science major at Delhi University, and I'm now doing an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This summer I did a research internship at NIT Kurukshetra, working on a deepfake-detection model, and our paper is submitted to a computer vision conference. So I use the subjects I teach every day, not just for exams.
I'm new to Superprof, so I don't have reviews yet. What I can promise is that I'll show up prepared, explain things patiently, and tell you honestly where you stand. If a topic isn't working, we'll change the approach instead of repeating the same explanation.

Most students I meet aren't bad at the subject. They were given steps and formulas to memorize, so one unfamiliar question throws them off. I teach the reason first, in plain words and small examples, and only then move to textbook problems.
A class runs about an hour. We start with a quick check on last time's topic, then I explain the new idea, and then you solve problems while I watch and step in only when you're stuck. I keep a list of your repeated mistakes and go back to it. In Physics we sketch the situation before writing any equation. In Python and Computer Science you write code in the very first session, and we debug it together so error messages stop being scary.
I'm a Computer Science graduate and I build machine learning projects myself, so I can explain the math behind coding and the coding behind math with real examples. These classes are for school students from Class 6 to 12 in CBSE and ICSE who want stronger basics, board exam practice, or help with school coding projects. No prior coding needed for beginners.

Details
The hourly fee covers the full lesson, plus any notes and practice sheets I prepare for you. There's nothing extra to buy, and no registration or material fees.
Online classes are over video call, and all you need is a notebook and a stable internet connection. If you'd like me to come to your home in Gurgaon, there's a small extra charge for travel, which we can agree on before the first class.
The first lesson is a trial. You can see how I teach, I can see where you are, and you only continue if it feels right. If you book a block of 10 classes, I'm happy to offer a small discount.
