About Freya
I am passionate about maths, particularly within computer science, for which I have offers to study at university. Challenging problem solving in maths is what I find most interesting! I am also a keen rower and find my skills in maths come in handy when calculating split times and predicting finishing times in races. I love tutoring and the satisfaction of a student gaining more confidence in an area of maths is an incredibly rewarding feeling.

I offer lessons of an hour where I help students to tackle subjects they find challenging. I find it most helpful to allow students to start working through a question themselves, offering advice and giving my own approach to questions when it is needed to give them multiple ways to handle a subject. I have two years' worth of tutoring maths to GCSE students at my school, helping to improve grades.
