About Olivia
I am a university graduate holding a Bachelors of Science in Medical Physics with a minor in math.
A fun fact about me and math is that we did not enjoy each others company in high school but I came to appreciate it (maybe even.. love it?!) in university once I learned how powerful a tool it is and how fun it is to do when taught properly.
Apart from my experience as a teaching assistant, I also have multiple siblings and friend's siblings that I have tutored and continue to tutor - needless to say I understand the frustration math can bring on and I'm here to work with you through it!

My game plan will depend on what works best for your learning style. That could mean that I give a lesson on a topic or that we spend the time working on practice problems - or both!
I am very patient and encouraging and believe that a lack of understanding is not on the student but a reflection of how they have been taught the material.
If we go through a lesson or a problem and there is no 'EUREKA!' moment I will find new ways to teach the material until we get there.
