About Aanya
Hello! I'm Aanya Sharma, a passionate and experienced art tutor with over 3 years of experience in teaching calligraphy, drawing, and watercolor painting to children. I believe every child is creative — they just need the right guidance and encouragement. My teaching style is calm, interactive, and child-friendly. I focus on building confidence and artistic skills through structured lessons and personal attention. I am committed to creating a safe, positive, and inspiring environment where kids can enjoy learning and express themselves freely. My goal is not just to teach, but to make students fall in love with art.

As an art tutor, I believe that creativity grows best when students enjoy what they are learning. My teaching approach is simple, interactive, and specially designed for school children. I use a step-by-step method that helps kids understand the basics first and gradually move toward more creative expressions.
Each class is structured into three parts:
1: Warm-up Practice – Simple strokes or patterns to loosen the hand and get into a creative mood.
2:Core Learning – We focus on a specific skill or technique in calligraphy, drawing, or water painting (e.g. alphabet forms, sketching basics, blending colours).
3:Fun Application Activity – Kids create something small using what they just learned (like a name tag, mini card, or colourful sketch).
I also share PDF worksheets, creative challenges, and fun assignments that help children explore their imagination. I ensure that every child feels comfortable, confident, and supported — no pressure, only progress.
What makes my teaching different is the personal attention I give to each student. I adjust my pace according to their comfort level and keep the classes engaging with a warm and friendly environment.
These classes are best suited for school children (ages 6 to 14) who love art or want to explore it. Whether your child is a beginner or already shows interest in drawing or lettering, I help them sharpen their skills while enjoying the process.
