About Dominic

I am from the Eastern part of Nigeria where ìgbò language is spoken as first language. I studied ìgbò language and linguistics up to university level. I graduated from University of Lagos Nigeria (UNILAG). I graduated with Second Class Upper with CGPA of 4.27 in 2016. Ever since then, I have been teaching ìgbò language both in primary schools and colleges. I want you to learn, understand and speak the language because it is ours.

About the lesson

I make my teaching fun because I know that my students or pupils are entrusted into my care. Therefore, I am obligated to make them understand and speak the language. I simplify my methods of teaching, having beginners in mind.

"asụsụ bụ ụmị obibi ndụ mmadụ"
Which means, "language is the marrow of human existence"
My sole aim of teaching ìgbò language, is to prevent ìgbò language from becoming extinct.
Speaking your mother tongue makes you to have an edge over someone who does not understand nor speak it.
