• We Do (Guided Practice): We practice the skill together using guided exercises and examples, focusing on identifying common pitfalls.
• You Do (Independent Application): The student applies the skill independently to their assignments or a drafted document, which provides immediate feedback on mastery.
This method ensures active learning and immediate application, leading to better retention. I incorporate real-world materials (like news articles for reading comprehension or job descriptions for resume analysis) to keep lessons engaging for all students, focusing on concepts crucial for English, Grammar, Reading, and Literacy.
