About Nolwazi
Hello my future student :)
I'm a chill girl from Johannesburg. I'm currently a second-year student at the University of the Free State, I study Foreign Language and Linguistics. I've been private tutoring for two years now. I'm very passionate about teaching, it's always a joy for me when students get their test results back and boast about how I assisted in improving their grades. I wouldn't take the credit I would say I instil confidence in my students to achieve marks they know they are capable of getting.
I love to teach English Home Language, Maths Literacy, Computer Application Technology, and History.
I love making jokes to make my students comfortable in order to be receptive to learning. Life is so serious, I don't wish for my lessons to add further stress in their lives.
If you prefer someone who is fun, compassionate, and playful, I think our lessons would be great.

I do online lessons becuase I'm a full-time student which makes your learning experience convenient because I will always be available on our agreed upon time. I'm playful and casual I like making appropriate jokes during the lesson to keep the attention of my student but I'm very effective when I teach and make sure my student understands the content. I'm extremely patient and don't mind explaining the content repeatedly until they have an full understanding of the content.
I'm able to teach in English.
What students can expect from me is a check-up before every lesson to see how they''re doing, I like to gauge their emotional state so that I can teach accordingly. I take mental health very seriously. I do exercises of the work during the less to sharpen the student's skills and fill any gaps in their knowledge of the content. I also provide homework to complete before each lesson that I review in the next lesson.
My lessons are catered towards senior phase high school students like grade 10 to 12 that do CAPS/IEB curriculum.
