About Avani
I am a dedicated science and humanities student with a passion for academic excellence and peer mentorship. Having recently navigated the rigors of high-level secondary science—focusing heavily on molecular genetics and advanced chemistry—I have a fresh and relatable understanding of the challenges students face today. My academic journey has led me to a Bachelor of Science program, providing me with a strong foundation in the subjects I tutor. And also badminton.

My teaching approach is designed to simplify complex concepts and build practical skills, whether we are in a classroom or on a badminton court. I believe that real learning happens when you understand the logic behind the facts, and I tailor every session to the student’s specific learning style.
My Methodology
I use a "concept-first" technique. In Biology and Chemistry, we break down molecular processes into visual diagrams. In English, we focus on thematic analysis and vocabulary enrichment. For Badminton, I use a "demonstrate and drill" method, focusing on proper form to prevent injury and improve power.
A Typical Lesson Plan
The Check-In (5–10 mins): Reviewing previous material or addressing specific homework "roadblocks."
Active Learning (30–35 mins): New content delivery, whether it's solving trigonometric identities, analyzing a play, or practicing backhand clears.
Application (15 mins): Hands-on practice, timed drills, or writing exercises to solidify the new knowledge.
