About Jewel
I have a BA in Theatre and Dance from University of New Hampshire and an MA in Movement from Wesleyan University. I've been teaching Vaganova technique ballet since then. I've been teaching a beginner class in Portsmouth, NH for fifteen years and enjoy it so much.

I have a Master's Degree in Movement from Wesleyan University and years of ballet training. A typical lesson plan starts with the barre: foot exercise, pliés, tendus, jetés, rond de jambe, fondus, relevés longue, rond de jambe en l'air, grand battements. Then we move to the center and work on balance, turns, and jumps/leaps. I pay close attention to each student and what each one's potential is. I am mainly interested in teaching beginners.
