About Talia

Hi, I'm Talia, a dedicated pre-dental student at Tarleton University with a strong academic background in math and chemistry. I understand the challenges students face because I actively work through the same material at a high level, which allows me to explain concepts in a clear and relatable way.

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor focuses on breaking down complex math and chemistry concepts into clear, step-by-step processes that are easy to understand and apply on exams. I prioritize the “textbook method” so students can confidently earn full points on quizzes and tests. A typical lesson starts with a quick review of key concepts, followed by guided practice where I walk through problems step-by-step. Then, students try similar problems independently while I provide feedback and corrections. I also include tips on avoiding common mistakes and improving problem-solving speed.

My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and early college students taking math or chemistry courses who want clear explanations and better test results.
