I cover atomic structure, the periodic table, bonding, quantitative chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical analysis and required practicals in full. Moles, relative formula mass, concentration, percentage yield and atom economy are each worked through step by step until every method is on your fingertips. Past papers and mark schemes are used consistently so students phrase answers correctly, use proper chemical terminology and stop losing marks to small avoidable errors.
What we will cover:
- Atomic structure, the periodic table, bonding and structure, quantitative chemistry, chemical changes, energy changes, rates of reaction, organic chemistry and chemical analysis.
- Moles, relative formula mass, concentration, percentage yield and atom economy, each worked through step by step until every method feels completely reliable.
- Ionic, covalent and metallic bonding and how the structure of a substance determines its properties, clearing up the misconceptions that affect performance across multiple topics.
- Alkanes, alkenes, alcohols, carboxylic acids and addition and condensation polymers, with close attention to the level of detail mark schemes require.
- Required practicals in full, including identifying variables, interpreting results and evaluating experiments in written form.
Past paper questions and mark schemes consistently so answers are phrased correctly, chemical terminology is precise and small errors that cost marks are eliminated.

Two lessons in and I'm already seeing progress. Sahar is knowledgeable, well-prepared, and genuinely invested in helping you improve. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor who gets results.
Sahar is a brilliant tutor. I studied Maths with her, and she really helped me prepare for my GCSE exams. She explained everything so clearly, and we went through lots of past papers together. Her teaching style is very easy to follow and understand.
Sahar was a really great maths tutor during my GCSEs. She explained topics in a way that actually made sense and was always patient whenever I got stuck on something. She helped me improve a lot, especially in the areas I found difficult, and made me feel much more confident before my exams.
She was always supportive, organised, and easy to learn from, and her lessons never felt stressful. Thanks to her help and encouragement, I went into my GCSE maths exams feeling well prepared. I’d definitely recommend Sahar to anyone looking for a friendly and reliable maths tutor.View more recommendations
