About Tanya
Teaching has always been a passion of mine since a young age. This is true because I believe knowledge is a powerful tool that can help many in their endeavours. Unfortunately not everyone likes to learn as much as I do and this is due to a number of reasons. My goal is to be able to understand the learning style and potential of each individual separately and teach them in a way that allows them to feel motivated and prepared. Sometimes all it takes to make a good student is a good teacher.

I lived in Singapore for 10 years and have experienced many different cultures in an international environment. Taking the IB has allowed me to master a broad range of subjects and understand different requirements. Furthermore, I also did a dual IGCSE and MYP diploma. While I did struggle with a few subjects at school, learning what was expected of me and excelling in that area allowed me to achieve the grades that I did. I make the effort to understand each student's learning style since there is never a one size fits all. I believe anyone can do well in their studies if they are taught in a fun and interesting way that engages and pushes them to meet their potential. My lessons will last 1 hour and will be aimed towards IB, A-Level and IGCSE/GCSE students.
