Sophia is one of my classmates. She is extremely easy to talk to and is always happy to lend a helping hand. She is a very strong student and her explanations are clear and insightful. Whether it is explaining a chapter from an english novel or working through a chemistry problem with me, Sophia is ready and very capable to teach. When I struggle with Chemistry, Sophia is the first person I go to to help me. First, we read through the question together. I then I show her my steps. She explains where I went wrong and encourages me to try again. No matter how frustrated or discouraged I am, Sophia stays calm and slowly explains to me the problem and required steps. She encourages me to try until I succeed. I 100% recommend her as a tutor. She is also a genuinely amazing person. I went on a humanitarian trip with her to the Galapagos and she was so involved and open to do all she could to help. No matter what she does she always puts her all.
