About James
When I studied Chemistry seriously at A-Levels, I got a D grade, and barely managed to get onto the Foundation Year for the Sheffield Hallam Chemistry course. There, I learnt new and challenging Chemistry theory and was forced to improve and work hard.
I almost dropped out in my second year, but I pushed through, and with persistence, I managed to get a 1st Class Honours in my Bachelor's degree.
Afterwards, I pursued Chemistry further at the University of Sheffield and came out with a Merit.
My reasoning for becoming a tutor, is to help all those who struggle with the subject. To ensure they can pass with high marks, instead of barely getting a pass. I want to make sure that any student I work with will do better than me in their studies.

I will find a student's weak points and help them become stronger in that area. I hope to give my students some problems to help them work through them at a level they can handle.
Approximately 45m-1h, twice a week for one student.
I have a MSc(Res) Chemistry from the University of Sheffield, as well as a BSc(Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University.
My lessons are for any student across the country, currently studying for their GCSEs, A-Levels (15-18 years old)
