About James
Currently I am a Student at the University of Sydney studying Civil Engineering and Commerce, and a tutor for one of the largest Eastern Suburbs tutoring businesses where I have gained over 600 hours of experience. In Year 12 for my HSC I received a Band 6 in 3U Maths, Advanced English and Economics, and a Band 5 in Physics and 4U Maths and received an ATAR of 96.2. With my experience and knowledge I have learnt different ways to communicate and teach students in both primary and secondary schools of all different capabilities. After tutoring for nearly three years I’ve learnt a variety of ways to communicate and teach students of varying abilities and all age groups. I’m willing to listen to feedback and learn new ways to adapt my teaching style if one method of explanation doesn’t work.

Perfect! James has been wonderful. He is obviously extremely intelligent and has shared his wealth of knowledge in mathematics with my daughter. However, he is also very well mannered, adaptable, pleasant and professional. My daughter finds James relatable and approachable and James has a unique way of tutoring, which has assisted my daughter in being able to understand concepts.
