About Joel
Over the past 4 years I have helped many students understand mathematics through a practical lens. I hold a BSc in Mathematics with Actuarial Science and specialise in discrete mathematics. My lessons cover logic, relations, set theory, graph theory, and counting methods. I particularly enjoy teaching computer science students. We connect mathematical models to algorithms and data structures. Concepts like recursion and complexity become clearer. I focus on stepwise explanation and visualisation. Students learn to reason carefully and solve problems independently. The fear of proofs disappears. Mathematical thinking becomes a useful tool.
