As a tutor, my approach is patient, structured, and student-focused. I break algebra concepts down into simple, step-by-step explanations so students can truly understand the “why” behind each problem, not just memorize steps. I adjust my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace and use real-life examples to make math feel less overwhelming and more relatable.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by introducing a new concept using guided examples. We then work through practice problems together before the student tries problems independently with my support. Each session ends with a brief recap and optional practice to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain algebra in a way that feels approachable and stress-free. As a recent high school graduate, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts in a way that feels familiar and easy to follow. I focus on building confidence, not just correct answers.
My lessons are designed for middle school students taking pre-algebra or algebra, as well as high school students who need extra support, review, or confidence-building in foundational algebra skills.
