About Anthony

I am a very experienced teacher and I love to learn and apply the most advanced teaching techniques.I hold BSc and BEd degrees and a permanent government authorized teaching certificate. I am a trained teacher and this sets me apart from others who do not have my teaching credentials. I have achieved a high level of success and excellent student reviews in the Mathematics, Science, ESL, and other subject area classrooms. My ESL background has helped me to communicate effectively with a wide range of students. I am very flexible and this has helped me to take the lead and develop curriculums for several schools. Going the extra mile for my students has always brought a great deal of satisfaction to me. This is evidenced by the fact that I have designed and produced critically acclaimed teaching materials/study guides in areas such as Mathematics, ESL, Science, and other areas. I have extensive experience in the use of electronic whiteboards, direct messaging, telephone conversing, and numerous online technologies. I have extensive tutoring skills which have been honed by my experience and skills. I am looking forward to using my advanced experience and course development skills to help you to achieve your educational goals.

About the lesson

If you are having trouble with Mathematics, Science, or ESL look no further! I have you covered right from pretesting and diagnostic testing to mastering your new skills in your course. My basic method is as follows:
ASSESS
The first stage is to assess your problem areas. I do this through pretesting, careful listening, and other strategies and techniques to identify problem areas.
TEACH
Once the problem areas are identified, I focus on these areas to correct your errors, misunderstandings, etc.
APPLY
By applying your new skills to new situations you will be thrilled with how much your abilities have improved!!

Since I am a certified teacher, I would be pleased to offer complete courses to you at special rates. My goal is for you to succeed. I will both tutor and teach you. I have had a great deal of success with this in the past. For instance, one math student was struggling at school so I taught him the complete course in Math 30. His final grade was 90% and he became an honour student with my teaching !!
