About Mingshi
My name is Marshall, and I am a native Chinese speaker living in Auckland. I have a Level 2A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate, which is a professional qualification for standard pronunciation.
I love my language and culture, and I want to help more people enjoy learning it. I am a patient person and I enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds. Teaching Mandarin is a great way for me to share my culture and help you reach your goals. I look forward to meeting you and starting this language journey together!

I am a native Chinese speaker and I have been speaking Mandarin for over 20 years. I also have a Level 2A Mandarin Certificate, which means my pronunciation is very standard and clear.
I can teach students of all levels and ages. Whether you are a total beginner or want to practice daily conversation, I can help you. In my lessons, I like to focus on speaking and listening. I will use simple ways to help you understand Chinese culture and grammar.
Each lesson is usually 60 minutes long, but we can change the time to fit your schedule. I am a very patient teacher and I want to help you speak Chinese with confidence!
