A bit of background context, I'm currently a first year student studying Pharmacy Degree at the University of Reading, I achieved DDM in BTEC Applied Science and 3 GCSEs with a grade 7.
My expertise lies in KS2 maths and BTEC Applied Science where I aim to simplify concepts and set a love for learning in my students. I bring innovative approaches to my teaching methods, I understand that every student learns differently and I tailor my sessions to accommodate various learning styles, ensuring that each individual grasps the material effectively. Lesson lengths are usually from 45 mins to 1 hour.
I have quite a bit of experience teaching KS2 maths, I have volunteered at my school, I have also tutored family and friends as high as BTEC’s/A-levels.
I make my sessions fun and easy to understand. I want them to really understand and enjoy maths, sometimes when dealing with harder questions, breaking it down into simpler parts will help that. I can help with school homework to exam preparation. My main goal will be to build a strong foundation for learning that will last a lifetime.
