About Natalia
I am a creative with a deep passion for art and art-making. I'm very social and extroverted and enjoy working with people, especially kids and believe that it is inherently human to enjoy art and that every one should exercise their creativity. Art also has many therapeutic benefits to work through emotional or stressful times and can be meditative when instructed correctly.

I take a personalised approach in teaching art, the teaching style and subject will vary slightly according to the needs and desires of my student. My education encourages us to learn from both the masters and contemporary artists and I personally would follow this approach, using techniques from different art movements, cultures and time periods to explore my student's creative side. I can offer to teach drawing using materials such as pencil, charcoal, colour pencil and painting using materials such as acrylic and oil paint or water colour. I can teach how to draw or paint both objects and people. For a more interactive approach I can teach basic ceramics using air dry or oven-bake clay and sculpture using found objects. I also provide a teaching guide for art history and theory, this type of learning helps to improve literacy skills both in reading and writing and teaches the student about visual analysis.
